Schools Programme

The Vitality Netball World Cup 2019 is a unique opportunity to experience and inspire school children in elite netball, whilst also providing lessons in the countries and cultures that make up the world of netball.

The Vitality Netball World Cup is the biggest event in world netball and will land at the M&S Bank Arena Liverpool (formerly known as the Echo Arena) from 12-21 July 2019.

16 teams, ten days of thrilling action. One world cup trophy.

Falling within the last two weeks of the school summer term, the Vitality Netball World Cup 2019 is a unique opportunity for school children to enjoy an inspirational experience of elite netball, whilst also learning about the different countries and cultures that make up world netball.

To make it as easy as possible for schools to join us, we have created an official schools programme for schools and home educators to allow children of all ages to join us next year and experience the thrill of elite, world-class netball!

Schools tickets

We are delighted to offer school groups a complimentary teacher ticket for every 10 junior tickets purchased.

Junior tickets start from £5, and exclusively for schools, will also be available in the gold seating category for just £15.

This ticket offer is available to schools and home educators attending the following sessions:

Friday 12 July – session one, court two

9am – 1:15pm

Barbados v Singapore

Zimbabwe v Sri Lanka

Junior tickets: gold £15, silver £12, bronze £7

Tuesday 16 July – session nine

9am – 1:00pm

Two Group E matches

Junior tickets: gold £15, silver £12, bronze £7

Wednesday 17 July – session 11

9am – 1:00pm

Friday 19 July – session 15

9am – 1:00pm

13th/14th placing match

Please note, complimentary tickets for teachers and concessions within the gold seating area are only available for the sessions within the official schools programme listed above.

Session arrival

We encourage you to arrive for the start of your session (9am) in order to enjoy the full Vitality Netball World Cup 2019 experience, however, we understand that this might be difficult for those travelling from further away and so this is not obligatory.  Our friendly team of VNWC2019 Pivoteers will be on hand when you arrive at the venue to welcome you to the event and assist you where possible.

A pack containing your session tickets and useful information for members of your school party will be issued to all schools in advance of the event.

Please note that there are no cloakroom facilities at the M&S Bank Arena Liverpool, so we would recommend that you travel light or leave spare belongings on your coach whilst you attend the event. A special allowance of small quantities of food and drink for personal consumption by children is allowed within all official school programme sessions.
