ACC Liverpool is an event campus located on the banks of Liverpool’s UNESCO world heritage waterfront and home to the M&S Bank Arena (formerly known as the Echo Arena), BT Convention Centre, Exhibition Centre Liverpool and Pullman Liverpool.
Since opening in 2008, the venue has successfully staged an impressive array of national and international events, from high profile concerts to international conferences, business gatherings to global exhibitions.
ACC Liverpool is a unique single site venue all interlinked to deliver a seamless Vitality Netball World Cup experience.
M&S Bank Arena Liverpool, (formerly the Echo Arena Liverpool) is one of the most prestigious entertainment venues in the UK.
Since opening in January 2008, the M&S Bank Arena has hosted more than 1,000 performances and welcomed 5 million visitors.
Sporting highlights include BBC Sports Personality of the Year, the GB Judo World Cup, Davis Cup, the British Gymnastics Champions Series, the European International Taekwondo Federation (EITF) Championships and Championship Boxing.
The venue has hosted a series of major netball sporting events such as the INF Fast Net Event in 2010 and 2011 and the first UK round of the Quad series in January 2018.
It will host all matches throughout the Vitality Netball World Cup, including the preliminary rounds and finals.
The adjoining BT Convention Centre will host the INF Congress, event hospitality and warm-up courts. It has a 1,350-seat auditorium and 18 further meeting rooms.
Downstairs the 3,725 sqm multi-purpose hall will provide warm-up space for athletes prior to each match.
Exhibition Centre Liverpool will house the training facilities for athletes. Opening in 2015, it is interlinked to the arena and convention centre via a pedestrian link bridge. It consists of three exhibition halls – providing 15,225 sqm of integrated and flexible event space – as well as a suite of meeting rooms. The biggest ever British Transplant Games held to date took place in the exhibition centre in 2016 which included a spectacular opening ceremony.
Pullman Liverpool, integrated with Exhibition Centre Liverpool, will be the official headquarters hotel for the Vitality Netball World Cup. Pullman Liverpool offers 216 spacious comfortable bedrooms as well as free wi-fi throughout the hotel. The hotel offers stunning vistas looking out across the River Mersey and the city’s UNESCO World Heritage site.
