Fiji and Samoa have both secured their qualification for the Netball World Cup 2019 in Liverpool at the Regional Qualifier – Oceania.

Fiji, who arrived at the Phyllis Latour Doyle Highwire Trust Arena in Papakura, New Zealand off the back of a difficult Commonwealth Games, took three victories from their first three games to confirm their place at the World Cup next July with a day to spare.

Samoa are also unbeaten in the tournament, following victories against Tonga, Papua New Guinea and Cook Islands.

Fiji and Samoa will go head-to-head for top spot in the table on the fifth and  final day of competition on Saturday 21 April, which will also see Cook Islands take on Tonga, who are without a win so far. Both games will be streamed live on the Netball World Cup 2019 Facebook page.

In Liverpool, Samoa and Fiji will join England – who qualify as host nation – and Scotland and Northern Ireland who qualified at the Regional Qualifier – Europe in January 2018. More information about when the remaining 11 teams will be confirmed is available here.
